Earlier Airtel was the first telecom company to launch 4G services at Kolkata,India.Airtel had bagged BWA spectrum in four Telecom circles Kolkata,Bangalore,Maharashtra and Punjab for a whopping amount of Rs.3314.36 crore in the year 2010.
4G is expected to be five times faster than the 3G.
